Is this for you?
Millions suffer from hormonal issues without even knowing, such as fatigue, anxiety, hot flushes, depression, mood-swings, low libido, weight problems, sleep disturbances and thyroid imbalances.
This workshop introduces the importance of harmoniously regulating hormones for general well-being, and will also cover common hormonal imbalances and their symptoms, and how to treat these in a natural way.
Addressing how food acts as medicine, we will discuss how lifestyle changes can help to minimise some the negative impact hormone imbalances may be having upon your life.
The brain and happiness
The harmony of the brain’s activity is dependent on many factors, some of them pre-determined (genetic) and others determined by what we do in every single moment.
A harmonious hormonal level is assisted by an adequate diet, which can support the activity of the brain and can even regulate the production of beneficial hormones.Other factors that influence hormone production are physical exercise and movement; stress management and the quality of sleep; and the daily activities we undertake (especially long-term or repetitive activities).
Latest descoveries show that all activitities done with enthusiasm and dedicated to personal development or spiritual evolution have a positive impact on well-being and hormone regulation.
Poor nutrition and a sendentary lifestyle directly induce an unhealthy state in the brain, which severely affects the quality of human life (including happiness, motivation, fulfillment, calm and general wellness) and even influences mental activity (intelligence, attention and memory)!
It is a sad reality that food today lacks basic nutrients (minerals, vitamins and enzymes) and if heavily processed (through freezing, excessive boiling or pasteurizing), it loses its nourishing potential and becomes ”dead”. For a happy life, we need to take greater care to regulate our hormonal levels.
When the level of neuro-hormones is not good enough for a healthy metabolism, the entire being suffers: energetic levels drop dramatically (causing chronic fatigue, insomnia or sleepiness, stress, anxiety and emotional instability), the mood will be oscillating or even depressive, and we lose our general state of wellness.
